"Nah, I'd rather have a longsword." Katrina said entering the shop.
"Oh, hey Katrina!" The shopkeeper said, "You're brother's order came in, think you can take it to him?"
"Sure, oh, I'm here to buy a new sword, I'm going to be travel the world today."
"Good for you, now, I got this shipment in of steel swords in you might like." He said, holding one up with garnets decorating the handle and crossguard.
"OOH! How much?" She asked, holding the sword carefully in her hands.
"Well, since you and your brother Reinzel handle errands for me while in your town... I think I can give you one for 600 gold."
"DEAL!" Katrina said, paying the man for the weapon, and gaining a package for her twin. She then pulled her wooden sword out of her sheath, and stored it in her bag, replacing it with the steel one. She then put the package in a different pocket, and smiled at Lucien.
"The awesome thing about these bags, they can hold up to twenty of any item, and have a surprising amount of space. There are deluxe bags that can hold up to thirty of any item, but those are rare, and very expensive. Anyway, let's go, shall we Lucien?"

Lucien sighed. "Yes, let us go then. The world awaits." He said in a rather dull tone, mostly because once you've lived for 200 years, you've seen mostly everything the world has to offer, like it or not.

"Well, I have to swing by my home first... It's in the woods on the mountains close to here. Follow me!" She said, and walked out of town by walking past the fountain of Lloyd. "If you're wondering, I had thought the twins would be at this end waiting for me, so I entered through the other way. But, I was wrong, as you saw." She then walked into the forest up ahead, leading Lucien to her home within them.
A clearing up ahead held two houses, one on top of a hill, the other at the bottom. Near the bottom house, were two graves, one was for her grandfather, the other her mother's. Other things surrounded the house, that looked like clockwork machines, or rather, parts of ones.
"Well, here it is, home sweet home Lucien."

"How quaint." Lucien said, removing his hat and jacket, waiting to be invited into the house. "...I can't actually go in. Vampire curse. I have to be invited in by the homeowner." He muttered, a bit ashamed "Again, this is why being cursed is a pain in the ass."

Katrina was honestly surprised to hear this, and then smiled.
"Well, come on in then!" She said, smiling. She then went inside and looked around the house. "Hmm... guess he's in the workshop. Lucien, you make yourself at home, I'll go give Reinzel his package, okay?"

Lucien entered without a problem, and placed his hat and jacket onto a table, and relaxed Definately better than sleeping out in the cold..." He said, and began to snooze just a little bit.

Katrina couldn't help but smile as he slept, and placed a blanket on him. She then went down hill to the smaller house, stopping to pay her respects to the two graves.
"Dado, Mom... I'm going to be going soon. I hope Reinzel can take care of things while I'm traveling the world, and that I'll be able to find someone for myself." She then had a moment of silence before entering the work shop, and seeing her twin brother, a young bearded man with short brown hair, blue eyes, and wearing a white tunic with gray shorts. The man moved the goggles he had on away from his eyes and looked at his sister.
"Hey Kat, thought you were leaving as soon as you got supplies?" he said, shoving his project away.
"Yeah, but those parts you ordered came in." She answered placing the package on the table.
"You're left arm's a bit stiff."
"Ran into Dida and Moll. My arm got a little wet, that's all."
"Sis... let me take a look."
With a sigh, Katrina sat down next to her brother, and after a couple of hours, returned to the house, and poked Lucien. The sunlight coming through the window behind her.
"Hey, Lucien, ready to go?"

Lucien snarled at her as he was poked awake, but once he realized who it was, he sat upright, gently placing the blanket next to him and folding it. "...My body doesn't register heat. It was nice that you thought of me but in the future you needn't waste quilts on me like that."

"If you say so." Katrina said, shrugging. "Anyway, there's something I got to grab from my room, really quick, and then we can be on our way." the girl then ran upstairs, and after a couple of minutes, ran back down and showed the Dhamphir a silver ring with a pale blue stone and an emblem of two deer separated by a lightning bolt.
"This was my grandpa's ring... he gave it to me before he died, so it's important to me, alright?" She said, slipping the ring onto her right hand.

"...I appreciate that you pay homage to your elders, but you needn't explain the personal value of the item." Lucien said, actually cracking the smile. "From the condition that it's in, I assume you've taken excellent care of it."

"Yeah, polish it weekly." Katrina said, grabbing Lucien's hand with her left, gripping it tightly. "Well, Let's go then! I hope to at least make it to Asgard before nightfall, I mean, sun's already risen after all."
The theorist then dragged Lucien out of the house, a grin on her face.

"...There's no need to actually DRAG me, you know." He said with a heavy sigh, trying to get his way out of the hold.

Katrina turned her head and let go of Lucien's hand.
"Sorry about that, I guess I got over excited a little." She said, chuckling.
As she walked away from the house, her brother Reinzel watched from the workshop window, a violin being tuned as he said a poem to himself.
"Long ago in a time far away A rogue soldier entered a battle one day He lost his arm, and he fled into the fog Demons came, as his oppenent saw They were attracted to the blood, and cursed the fog.
Black Fog, Black Fog Created that night, And searched for the dark truth's Light. Black Fog Black Fog Rides through the night Searching for the the source of it all.
The Soldier noticed his reflection had fled And was forever hunted. He ran into the black fog spawned from his past and there he screamed his last
Black Fog Black Fog! Return what you stole! Return my reflection to me! Without it I am feared... Black Fog Black Fog You Demon Spawned Soul! What has been Sown shall be reaped! This curse brought by my red headed foe, Shall end tonight, I swear on my soul....
The Soldier's life, ended just then, His armor left behind The Fog took over, just as the man who cut his arm off back then Witnessed it take flight.
He said Black Fog Black Fog, Flies through the night forevermore Not Lapis Ring, nor half bred dog Shall keep it from it's goal. Uncover the truth of men, show them their flaws Accept the Darkness of their reflection Or else.... the next battle they'll fall.
Secrets and Pride, are dangerous things that always come to light The Black Fog Soldier's eternal plight Ends when the empty seeker reveals the truth If the cursed cannot accept themselves The Soldier's Quest will continue....." Reinzel than picked up the violin and played, looking out as his sister and her companion left his sight.
