Honoka didn't know how long she had been travelling now. All she knew was that it had been some time since parting ways with the mercenaries she had been travelling with. They had taken her as far as Izoold. They were off to Palmacosta, apparently. She had no interest there, however. Instead, the young woman preferred to stick to Tethe'allan cities.
After all, she was in search of Mizuho. One couldn't expect the Sylvaranti to know where it was. Not that Tethe'allans would necessarily know, but their chances were greater.
After travelling on her own for some time, she came across a seemingly busy town. The night before she had seen it light up the sky like a beacon when she made camp in the wilderness.
Now, she was stepping into it, looking around as she took each careful footfall after another. This city was different from others she had visited, somehow... people seemed... happier, perhaps?
It wasn't a moment before a woman approached her with a smile, and started rattling off a rehearsed greeting to the resort city. Honoka just stood there, blinking curiously while she half-listened to what was being said.
Once the woman fell silent once more, the white-haired girl let her own soft smile show. "Thank you for the welcome, but I can't stick around." She didn't realize, of course, just how this sort of place worked.
"Do you know anything about Mizuho?" She asked without missing a beat. "Or someone that might know anything, at least?" She added, in case the woman didn't know. Indeed, she didn't seem to, with the way she just stared blankly at her in response. Honoka stood there still, patiently waiting for some sort of answer.

(Hope you don't mind if I have Lance join.)
Lance had finally reached Altamira. It had been a long journey, but he was ready for whatever came his way. Travelling alone, he found, was lonely and painful, but he didn't have the luxury of friends. Not after...
He shook his head. Now wasn't the time to think about it. Now was the time to gather information. As he entered the town, he looked around. People were...cheery here. He hadn't seen genuinely happy faces in a long time, not like the twisted smiles of bandits, or the grinning teeth of monsters trying for a quick snack.
"...Hm." He ignored the people, and their reactions to seeing him walk around. He was, of course, covered in the blood of monster and human alike. He hadn't been able to wash the stains out in the rivers, no matter what. He noticed two people talking, and decided he should at least comment. "...Hey, either of you know a good place to sleep around here?" He asked bluntly. "An inn or something." He added. Maybe they could point him somewhere...

{Nope, I don't mind at all~}
The woman that couldn't quite answer Honoka's question was quick to turn her attention to another stranger, when presented with a different question. "Of course sir! The hotel is right over here." The worker happily chirped, gesturing to a tall building nearby.
Honoka just blinked, surprised that her own question was remaining unanswered. How rude... well, at least now she knew there was somewhere she could stay for the night. "Ah... thank you anyway, Miss..." She murmured, giving the woman a short nod, before she turned to head toward the tall building in question.
She did glance back once, though, noting the man that had approached with such a simple request. He seemed nearly as out of place here as she did, if not moreso. Maybe he would know something... She kept the idea in mind, deciding to check out the hotel first, before she did anymore questioning. Besides, she wasn't exactly in a hurry to have more people blankly stare at her like that woman had.

"Thanks." Lance headed off to the hotel. Maybe he could get a few items in town while he was at it. The other woman with him started to follow...odd. Was she going to the hotel too? Didn't matter. Not his business. He just kept walking.

Eventually, Lance would find himself in the company of a drunkard, or at least a man who smelled like he tipped a few back. He had scruffy looking hair, and sported a rather ornate and deadly looking spear on his back as he bumbled around, eventually putting his arm around Lance. "H-hey, buddy... I'm a Lich Hunter, man... Think you can spot me the money to buy me a few potions? Help a brother out!"

"...I only have enough for a room at the inn. I have nothing for you, Lich Hunter." Lance continued walking, ignoring the man and keeping on forward.

"Dude, that is like, a dick move!" Ross said, gritting his teeth as he stumbled after him. "Asshole! Fine! I don't need your hospitality!"

"I have no hospitality for anyone right now. I have a more important task at hand." Lance looked at the man following him, stopping. "...Though if you want some money for your drinking habit, then maybe you could tell me where Lloyd Irving is." He grinned, and with his clothes he was wearing, tattered and bloody, that grin made him look downright malicious.
"...Unless you know nothing. Then we have nothing else to talk about." He said almost mockingly, waiting for a response from the drunken Lich Hunter.

Presea was taking a quiet stroll in Altamira, after she had delivered some finished products to the Lezareno Company. She happened to pass a group of men who seemed to be having an argument of some sort. Presea's ears perked when the black haired man mentioned her former companion. Presea started toward the group of men, wondering what they would possibly want with him. She stood a few feet away from the two, she hesitated, waiting for a right time to speak.
"Um... are you looking for Lloyd...?"

"Hm? Yeah. I've got business with him." Lance said. The girl didn't seem like a threat...nor did she seem like she would know where Irving is. "...You don't happen to know where he is, do you?" He asked her. Couldn't hurt, he could luck out and this could be someone who knows Lloyd.

Presea thought for a minute. Guess she really didn't know Lloyd's whereabouts. But she knew where he lived, maybe he was still in Iselia, from the last Presea has seen of him.
"I know he lives around the Iselia region... maybe you could check there?"

"...Thank you." He actually didn't know much about Lloyd. He'd definitely have to look up information sometime. "...Um, I don't suppose you know anything about...the incident at Palmacosta? The...Blood Purge, I believe they call it?"
It was a definite long shot, but maybe he could finally get some information.

"T-The Blood Purge?!" Presea gasped. It wasn't something most people would want to talk about. It was a horrifying event. Presea wondered why the boy would want to know of such a thing.
"A-Ah... yes I do..." She paused for a moment recalling her knowledge on it.
"It happened to be an imposter who who caused the Blood Purge... I'll have you know, that Lloyd, along with the rest of my companions, took care of him. There is no need to worry about any future happenings related to the Blood Purge."

Lance recoiled at this. "A-an imposter?! ...That can't be. I saw him myself. I watched...Lloyd Irving slaughter my...my family in front of me. I was there...and I remember the look on his face."
Lance shuddered, tears running down his face. "...Companion. You traveled with him? If the Lloyd I saw was an imposter back then, then...I need proof. I need to meet Lloyd personally." Lance wiped his face. "...Thank you, ma'am. This...this is exactly what I needed. I'll head out tomorrow to look for him. Goodbye." For now, he headed to the inn. Sleep was what he needed. ...And maybe new clothes if he could afford it.

Presea blinked in confusion. Did this man believe that Presea was lying?
"There are many things that were made hidden on purpose. I believe these were one of the things..." Presea turned to look away. She didn't have anyone that she cared for that died in the Blood Purge, but it was still a terrifying event. Decus had even admitted that he was the person who had killed the people of Palmacosta.
"I-I'm sincerely sorry..." Presea turned around from the tearful man.
"Good luck..." Presea whispered softly, trying to soothe the boy. She knew it wouldn't do much, but she just wanted to wish him a safe journey to avenge, she assumed.
