A few days passed as they were traveling and they ran into monsters along the way, which of course made the journey longer.
Jack lazily walked into town, and stopped by the shop first to see if their were any weapons that were not in Iselia, and also stock up on gels.

"We have arrived.." Presea was tired as they have no rested in a while. She casually walked into Triet. It hadn't been this hot since Presea last visited.
"Is it not hot..?"

Jack walked out of the shop."yeah it's pretty hot out..." Jack said," I didn't imagine it being this hot when I thought of it."
"We could split up and explore the town," Jack suggested.

Jack walked around the town, quietly trying to find other people that would like to travel with him and Presea.
Then gave up after a bit and went to the Oasis.

"Ah it's beautiful isn't it Jack?" The middle of the desert and there is an oasis, what could be more breathtaking than that. It was also an ideal area for fishing.

"Um... Yeah... It is," Jack said a bit flustered but other wise he was fine. He then looked at the Oasis and at the several fishing holes that people were at.
"Want to go fishing," he asked after he was done looking around

Instead of answering, Jack ran into the nearest shop and came out holding two fishing rods. He handed one to Presea.

Presea was excited to try out her skills. She ran to the nearest fishing hold and sat down. She pulled out a hook and some Simurgh eggs. She wrapped the hook onto the rod and set the bait just in place. Before casting, she remembered to ask Jack if he needed any bait.
"Would you like to use some Simurgh eggs? I heard the Aspidoceleons love Simurgh eggs." She placed some eggs on her hand and offered it to Jack.

Presea casted her rod and waited for a bite. Nothing happened after 5 minutes. Presea decided to wait even longer. She looked over at Jack to see how he was doing. Suddenly, a nibble, not one, not two. Presea tried to reel in the monster. It seemed as it was about 172kg. She struggled as her hand slipped.
"Ah!" She gave the rod a hard yank. Gotcha! Presea was drenched with sweat. She brought out her axe and prepared for battle.
"Fiery Infliction!" With a single bow, the monster was unconscious. She wiped her forehead. Phew, that sure was a workout.
"Look Jack. I got one!" She smiled resting her arm on the monster.

"Lucky," Jack said as he had gotten several nibbles but hadn't caught one yet, that is until just now. One nibble, no two, wait three, Jack tried reeling it in.
He lost his fishing poll in the pond, Jack took that as a challenge and ran after it.

Presea was surprised by Jack's sudden motion. She helplessly looked into the water. She put down her rod, and sat at the edge of the dock. She stared into the desert. She waited for Jack's return.

Jack took out his sword and slashed at the monster that still had his fishing poll and it promptly feel unconscious. He grabed the monster and pulled it up to the surface with him.
"Got my poll," Jack shouted and swam back to shore.

Presea laughed. "That was quite an unusual method." She helped pull Jack back onto the dock. He was wet from head to toe.
"Good job." She gave Jack a thumbs up.

"Not much for waiting for a monster to pull my poll underwater," Jack shrugged," it was more fun than waiting on the dock."
Jack wanted to try again but collapsed from being over tired, almost falling back into the water!

Presea held onto Jack as he collapsed. She grabbed him by the arm. Presea was alarmed. It was probably the heat that made him faint.
"The best thing to do would to bring you to the inn." She pick up Jack with a hand. She tried to be careful for she didn't want to harm Jack and further. She rushed to the inn.
The inn was quiet as usual. Presea broke in the door and ran up to the counter.
"A room for one please!" She blurted out.
"Right over there m`am." The receptionist pointed to a door to the left of her.
Presea placed 100 gald on the counter and quickly ran into the room. She carefully placed Jack on the bed. Making sure to check Jack's temperature, she put her hand on his forehead.
"Seems like he has gotten and fever.. and is hyperventilating." She went to get a towel. She returned a few minutes later. She brought back a bucket of cold water and a few orange gels. Presea ripped a cloth from her ribbon and dipped it into the cold bucket of water.
She took it out and folded it into a neat rectangle. She carefully placed the ribbon on Jack's head. She dried her hands on her clothes and pulled the blanket on Jack.
"..." Presea looked doubtful. She grabbed a nearby chair and pulled it close to the bed. She waited until Jack finally woke up.
